Looking for Paste Security Utility

I've recently discovered just how easy it is for a web site to see what's in
my paste buffer (if I can hack the JavaScript to do it then anyone can
http://www.vargr.dsl.pipex.com/main.htm?Page06paranoia.htm).

I've got too many different passwords to stop using cut and paste on them,
so what I'm looking for is either a plug in for windows that does a paste
and clear buffer in one click, or a utility that I can leave on my quick
launch toolbar that when clicked just clears or puts garbage into the
clipboard. Anyone seen anything like that?

ClipClear --> http://www.moonsoftware.com/freeware.asp

"ClipClear is a tiny proggie (32k) that just clears your clipboard contents.
It installs itself into the tray area (near the clock) and allows you to
clear the clipboard by just clicking on its icon."

To prevent a web site from reading your clipboard, take the following
steps:
http://www.jasons-toolbox.com/BrowserSecurity/
Go to Tools->Internet Options.
Click on the Security Tab.
Click on "Custom Level."
Scroll down to the Scripting section under Settings.
Set "Allow paste operations via script" to Disable or Prompt.
Press the OK buttons to close the dialog boxes.

Use a Password Manager like "alle meine Passworte". It clears the clipboard
automatically.

Thanks for all your replies! I'm going for a belt and braces approach. I've
set my security so that it prompts before a script can use the paste buffer
and I'll play with those paste buffer cleaners and password handlers to see
which I like the most.

Hey there,

Excellent program. No install, and it lives in the system tray. The
icon changes if there's information in the clipboard. Double-click to
empty the clipboard, or right-click to view the contents. I've used
this for years.
