Looking for Microsoft EFS update or replacment product

I enabled file folder encryption using Microsoft EFS on my Windows
2003 server. I need to share encrypted files with multiple users and
need to assign additional users on a folder level. Microsoft EFS only
gives me the option of assigning additional users to access/encryt a
file by not to an encrypted folder.

Is anyone aware of Microsoft offering this feature in the next update
of EFS? If so when can I expect the EFS update ?

Is there a 3rd party product that can give me the same functionality
as Microsoft EFS with the addition of assigning additional user to a
encrypted folder (to view any encrypted file in that folder) ?

Workaround: You can give the fixed amount of people the DRA cert+keys.

Hi

SafeGuard LAN Crypt might help you out:

http://www.utimaco.com/indexmain.html

(we are using their "SafeGuard Easy" product for local hard disk
encryption on all laptops, and we are very satisfied with the product).

The BestCrypt product found at http://www.jetico.com/ also looks
interesting.

Robert, this is not an option for me since new files are created
frequently and I have to deal with 2000 user accounts.
