Looking for CD-menu builder that scans files and subdirectories

Hi there!
Does someone have a suggestion for me?

I'm searching for a program to create a menu for my
CD's with the freeware i collect from the internet.

I use FileNote to add a textfile with comments to
every file and all the files are placed in directories
and subdirectories with categorynames.

Before i burn these files to CD a want to add a menu.
I'm searching for a program that scans the files and
(sub)directories and builds a menu. It should also read
the textfiles and add the text to the menu.

Also i want to add the contents of previous burned CD's
to the menu. This way everytime i only need the last
burned CD to find a file.

So the menu should look something like this:

CD 1
Category 1
Subcategory 1
File 1 info
File 2 info...
Subcategory 2...
Category 2
Subcategory 1
File 1 info
File 2 info...
Subcategory 2...
...
CD 2
Category 1
Subcategory 1
File 1 info
File 2 info...
Subcategory 2...
Category 2
Subcategory 1
File 1 info
File 2 info...
Subcategory 2...
...

etc.

There are lot's of CD-menu builders around but i didn't
find any that can do the things above. In most cases i
have to add the filecomments to the menu by copying and
pasting them from the textfiles or build the categories
in the menu by hand.

Idea's are welcome.

Greetings,
Willy

Maybe Zip Indexator would work for you. It doesn't read the folders per se but reads zip files *IN* the folders. It can pick up info from a text file in the zip which you have added and/or intrinsic info within the files.

It spits out nicely formatted html files which could be burned to the disc. The index.html could be auto run...

Free, No Install

ZIP Indexator ¬ - the program is intended to aid in indexing zip archives by seaching file descriptions and creating a consolidated table of contents. If you have many archives and are sometimes at a loss to understand the abbbreviated names - Zip Indexator is exactly what you need!

Thanks for your suggestion but i think this will not work for me.
A lot of the files i want to burn on CD are '.exe'-files with
program-installers and the txt-files i maken with FileNote are in the
same subdirectory as the programfiles not in a zipfile.

Check out http://www.gentibus.com/us/Description.htm
CDVISTA CD CATALOGUING

Can export the directory into a html table
Instead of creating the text file in notepad etc I have been inserting the
notes into one of the columns in the table via the source page of this html
directory.

P.s. look for version with 176 and lower because I think the author went
shareware after the 176 edition
