NextAction is a JavaScript based one:

Requires Firefox as a browser though - throws JavaScript errors at me
when I try to call it using IE

If the platform is supposed to be Windows, I'd use EssentialPIM though:

Keeping my to-do list, appointments, contacts and notes in a single
place may prove to be more effective than just having the to-do list
there alone (imagine a to-list entry "phone Fred" - with Fred's phone
number nowhere to be found...).

Your requirements may differ of course...

If you have more tasks than that, you need to get off the computer and
