Looking for a IPP with FP2000 extensions

I have a discussion web that I started with FP97, then maintained with
FP98 and FP2000.

My provider has upgraded to FP2002 extensions which are not compatible
with the FP discussion webs. My provider has UNIX/Apache, but I think
that the same problems occur on windows.

My web is currently on an obsolete server that has FP2000 extensions.

I have had many posts on this forum about the problem.

I am thinking about having the provider move my main web to his main
server with the FP2002 extensions, but move the forum to another
provider.

My discussion is currently in a subweb, and can be in a subweb on the
new provider. I think that the way that my forum and main web are
linked, it doesn't matter if the forum is on a subweb of another
provider's server.

Can anyone suggest a provider?

Sincerely, Stan Hilliard

I think your problem is with poorly understood extensions and the UNIX
machine.
fp 2002 extensions should do just fine with the discussion web. the only
thing is on a windows machine the user registration template won't work, but
if you're not using it no prob.
I tried different systems and nothing I was ever on worked as well as well
understood and maintained extensions on a windows server.
check www.geo-hosting.com pretty cheap and good guys. I also do some
hosting but usually for my customers since the support of people who are
only hosting is a little "much". but exceptions can be made ;-)

Thanks,

I published my web to a Windows site at Geo-Hosting and it works well
so far. Lots of features and attentive support.

BTW, I looked at your http://nedp.net/hosting and up popped a
"security alert" window that said that the security certificate has
expired or is not yet valid.

Thanks again, Stan Hilliard
