I'm on a Win XP Pro SP2 box but it doesn't figure into this. I have seen
links to various KBs that are different from the usual type. By that I mean
they are on topics like Sound, CD/DVD, Hardware, but their approach is more
of an overview than Tshooting a specific problem or showcasing a feature.
This is an example of what I mean:
Dealing with Hardware Problems
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-gb;842624
I like these and there are several I want to find because they have frequent
screenshots and help in teaching.
I thought maybe this oldie but goodie might help me locate some of these:
How to query the Microsoft Knowledge Base by using keywords and query words
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;242450
but it doesn't. I have a few of these stashed somewhere and obviously the
people who post a link know how to find them but I can't. Can someone who
knows what hook to use to bring them up help me out?
I try to make cross posting rare but I thought it would be reasonable to put
this on Help and Support in case.
Tia,
