I am not sure it is there.
I posted that link because it is a good source for Longhorn
information and it may be there.
However Build 4074 runs on a 333mhx, 256mb RAM computer

That is not known at this time. Longhorn is still in the alpha stage. It
hasn't even gone beta yet. The currently release build 4074 has similar
specs to XP however you really need a lot more RAM. I'm running 4074 on a
P4 - 2.4GZ with 1GB DDR and it runs OK but is no speed demon.

Do you have anything using the FS on NTFS?
What is it like?
A virtual HD type file?

No, nobody knows, since the prodcut is still far from being
released. Whatever the minimum requirements are for current test
versions, they may well be very different by the time it's
released.

Too early to tell. But if past steps from version to version are
anything to go by, take a minimal practical XP machine (say 750MHz 256
MB) as lowest 'recommended', a reasonably well configured workaday XP
(say 1500 MHz 512MB) as the level to have to make a basic usable system,
and twice that if you want it to perform.

Alex,

I am just asking to prepare for a future upgrade of a motherboard and
processor. I just want to make sure the hardware I buy today will be good to
run Longhorn.

You'll need to buy the latest and the greatest to run it well. Perhaps an
AMD FX-53 based system, 1GB RAM (more if possible) and a really good
graphics card if you're a gamer/designer (use Doom3 as the benchmark -
Perhaps a GeForce 6800 Ultra).

Ryan;
Get the best you can.
The actual requirements may not be known for a while and by then your
top of the line today may be near the bottom at Longhorn release.

Information on what runs Longhorn is likely totally irrelevant on
release of the actual product so you will be pretty much buying blind.

Research and wait as long as possible.
