long time to close spreadsheet

I have a small (164kb) Excel spreadsheet with some macros. The file opens
fine, but when you close it, it takes over two minutes. It does not matter if
you add anything, or if you just open and close it. I am using Excel 2002
(10.6841.6839)SP3, and am running Windows XP Pro SP2.

A couple of things:

a. Is there a macro that runs on close or before_save?

b. Do you have Calculation set to Manual and to Recalculate before save?
That would be in the options for Excel.

Those two things could slow down the save portion.
