Since you have not really provided much information ( the no roaming profile
was a very good piece of information ) I can only assume that this is a DNS
problem.
Are all of your clients getting an IP Address lease from a WIN200x DHCP
server or from a Network Device ( such as a Router or a Firewall )? Are you
including in that lease information *O*N*L*Y* your internal DNS Server
information? Do not - I repeat, do not - include the DNS information from
your ISP ( or any other external DNS Server ). The only place for that
external DNS information is in the Forwarders tab of your DNS MMC.
I assume that you are all 'local' - meaning on the same LAN. Do you have
multiple Sites ( as defined in the Active Directory Sites and Services
MMC )? Are there any VPN clients? What is the connection speed? If you
have any of these, what types of GPOs do you have?
