Hi all,

I received several pdf files through e-mail and cannot open them or delete
them because the file names are too long, that means that they have many
characters.

Could someone file please help?

Hi,

Are they still in the email? Just delete the email. If you've saved them,
open a command prompt (start/run cmd) and navigate to the folder where they
are stored, then run del *.pdf

Can you save them to the root of your current drive (which will
potentially reduce the pathlength)?

Well that's a pretty stupid answer. What if he has other PDFs there he wants
to keep. Thanks to your suggestion, he could lose them all.

Besides, what kind of "operating system" would allow for the saving of files
that had filenames that were too long? Oh, yeh, forgot ... a toy operating
system from MickeyMouse.

And your suggestion is to do what?
Or is all you do is to criticize others?

The wealth the capitalist countries generate floats the
third world countries like the one you live in.

You hate us, but you keep coming with your hands palms up
for our wealth and our goods and services.

If it weren't for capitalism, you wouldn't be able to play
games on that computer you're sitting at.
