Long Delay in Loading Word

Hi

For the past month or so, Word takes a full one to two minutes to load a single document, everytime I open it. Has anyone every experienced this problem before, and if so, how was it corrected?

Are you running anti-virus software that is interfering with Word? Is
this software, e.g. Norton, set to scan Office Docs?

Rob means Norton AV's Office Plug-in. Disable it. Have you updated Norton AV
recently? Why not?
