Printing a Word 2002 document which has a small lightweight logo in the 1st
page Header. The printed document has the logo image reversed i.e.
white-on-black or photo negative.

HP printers have minimum of 16Mb memory.

I hope you get some response to this. I have only just found you message
after posting a similar one an hour ago.

Subject: Scanned bitmap prints negative

I have actually worked around mine by rescanning the image (since it was
only one out of about 30 that gave the effect). You might try it, if it was
you that created the image. If not, good luck.

Many thanks for responding.

HP responded by asking me to check the printers Properties:

Printer properties - Printer Preferences | Advanced | Postscript Options:
a. True Type Fonts - Change to Bitmap
b. Mirrored Output - should be No
c. Negative Output - should be No

HP believe that the Mirrored Output & Negative Output properties could have
been toggled by unusual print jobs.

Regards
Mike
