logonscreen

I have been using the classic welcome screen for some
time. I recently added a new user account and went to
change back to the new XP welcome screen and got this
popup "! A recently install program has disabled the
welcome screen and fast user switching. To restore these
features you must uninstall the program" then it gives a
file name to help locate the program (ginamsi.dll). This
file is located in the system32 folder and DLLCache folder.
I also have a msgina.dll in both locations.

The nearest I can come is that its some tweak I applied, a
virus/worm or, It may be a legitimate microsoft download,
ie "Advanced Networking Service Pack" for windows XP. I
vaguely recall downloading something like that.

Some information I have been able to round up on the
subject:

Event Logs, Security, Sucess Audit, ID 515.....
Trusted to submit logon requests are WinLogon, MSGina and
KSecDD

ID 514....
A trusted logon process has registered with the Local
Security Authority. This logon process will be trusted to
submit logon requests (all of the following) CHAP, RASMAN,
Kerberos, MICROSOFT_AUTHENTICATION_PACKAGE_V1_0
(msv1_0.dll),WDigest, Schannel and MS unified security
protocal provider.

I would appreciate any in-put on the subject, meanwhile
I'll sift through my tweaks and scripts to see if its one
of those. Ultimately I would like to disable the program
thats causing all of this.
