Hello.

I have a computer that will not run its logon script. I get the following
error in the Application event log.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: UserInit
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1000
Date: 11/15/2006
Time: 8:13:19 AM
User: N/A
Computer: OFC23-CSR001-XP
Description:
Could not execute the following script \\cfbdc01\NETLOGON\ofc23logon.vbs.
The system cannot find the file specified.

The problem is, this logon script is not was is defined as the logon script
in the user's group policy. This logon script hasn't existed in months and
for whatever reason, this machine will not see that has changed.

I've tried running gpupdate, flushing the DNS cache, restarting the
computer, checked DNS settings over and over....no matter what I can't get
this computer to see its new configuration.

Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot this?

Thank you.

You may have a replication issue. Do you have multiple Domain controllers? Any errors if running dcdiag or netdiag?

The only error I get using dcdiag is the follwoing:

Warning: Attribute userAccountControl of CFBDC03 is: 0x82020 = (
UF_PASSWD_NOTREQD | UF_SERVER_TRUST_ACCOUNT | UF_TRUSTED_FOR_DELEGATION )
Typical setting for a DC is 0x82000 = ( UF_SERVER_TRUST_ACCOUNT |
UF_TR
USTED_FOR_DELEGATION )
This may be affecting replication?

What does this mean and how do I fix it?
