Hi,
A bit of advice please, something has changed in my boot up, all of a
sudden Xp comes up with a Log on message.
The system could not log you on make sure your user name and domain are
correct, then type in your password again.
I have tried Run: control userpasswords2 the tick was not in the user
must enter username and password to use this computer. So I put it in
then took it out which brought up the next box user name and password.
I just used my name and left the password blank. Rebooted but still the
same problem. Thanks for any help guys
Regards
Bob

Has anyone got an answer to how to set the Logon to Local Machine? I am
having the same problem, but there is drop down menu that I can see and I
cannot get past the logon to run anything. Can't remember how to get the Dos
prompt.
