Logon Problems

I have a very strange problem with logging onto some
servers:

We have a W2K AD Domain, with 2 subnets - x.x.23.x and
x.x.24.x
Both subnets are configured in AD Sites and Services etc.

I have suddenly noticed that when logging onto any server
on the x.x.24.x subnet as domain\administrator, then it
takes around 20-30 minutes to logon.

If I try logon onto a server on the x.x.23.x subnet, then
it is almost immediate.

I have made sure that the local profile is ok. I have
even removed it and tried again, but still takes long to
log on.

If I make a copy of the Administrator a/c and then log
onto the Servers - it is ok.
Any other a/c can logon fine.

The domain\administrator a/c is the Schema Admin,
Enterprise Admin, Domain Admin a/c

Help please !!

Hi,

Do you have Global catalog configured locally on same site x.x.24.x

If you dont have GC with in site, then the logon authentication has to be
authenticated by GC on other site, if the link is not persistent then there
would be delay in authetication.

Thanks,
