Whenever I or anyone else logs on to any of the profiles on my PC we get the
following message
"Error loading c:\windows\vinetwh32.dll
The specified module could not be found"

The dialogue box just has an ok button and nothing appears to be amiss but
it is annoying. Is there any way tio stop this happenning and is it
improtant.

I am on XP SP2 proffessional version 2002,

Hi there,

Try these steps:

1. Click Start, and then Run.
2. Type MSCONFIG and press Enter.
3. Click the Startup tab.
4. Clear the checkboxes of all the programs.
5. Click OK.
6. Restart the system.

Now check whether the error displayed again or not. If
not, perform the same steps and check the first entry in
the unchecked list and again restart the system. Repeat
the same until the error displays again. This procedure is
to trace out the entry, which is causing the problem.

It's not an MS file, and not part of XP.

Go to Start/Run, and type MSCONFIG then look at the STARTUP TAB, to uncheck unwanted, checked items

..

Search for vinetwh32.dll on Google. See what you find.
