Logitech VX Nano cordless laser mouse?

It's marketed for notebooks, but of course it would work for a desktop
PC. The receiver is tiny, the size of a nickel (USA) including the USB
connector. The mouse is small. Comes with a receiver extension cord for
some strange reason. Apparently the scroll wheel does not have
indentations, it spins freely, unless maybe when pressing down while
turning it. Not sure exactly how it works, maybe clicking down changes
its mode from freewheeling to regular scrolling. I definitely like the
easy movement of my MX-1000 scroll wheel.

Highly rated, lots of purchaser reviews on Newegg. Read one complaint
about it not being good for gaming, but that comment sounds fishy.
