Login-Do I have to?

I just installed Win2000 after using WindowsXP. So far I like it better,
except for having to login at boot up. I'm the only one using this computer
and in Users I have 1)Administrator (that's me) 2)Guest and 3)Me (that's me
too). My settings are customized under Me (my name) but it makes me login
at boot up. I went in as Administrator and told it to let Me also be an
administrator to keep from logging off and on. I didn't enter a password
but still have to login. How do I get rid of this annoyance? We have a
home LAN set up so I don't want to do anything to mess that up. I wasn't
having to login until I downloaded the latest Critical Updates so I don't
know what I did there.

Can anybody help me fix this mess?

Thanks!

Control Panel
Users and Passwords
Uncheck "Users must enter..."
or
d/l and install
TweakUI 1.33
Logon tab
Check mark User Logon Automatically

Thanks! I downloaded TweakUI and it worked fine. I tried unchecking the
box to bypass logging on in Control Panel/Users and Passwords before but it
didn't work. Tweak worked great.

Why do people use a third party app like tweakUI when 2K has it's own method
for bypassing the logon screen, ?

TweakUI isn't a third-party app, it's an officually unsupported Microsoft
tool for making some common system modifications without directly editing
the registry. As such, it's accessible to people who aren't comfortable
messing about in the registry -- and those who have trouble remembering
where to find the things to change.
