Hi
I´m running a SBS2003 with Win2kpro and XP as workstations. all in the same
LAN (Ethernet), and then a SDSL router to our ISP. SBS have DNS, DHCP, WINS,
GPO
Plus Exchange and SQL but NOT ISA server
I have a couple of problems that could perhaps be related to the same
sollution.
1. XP client suddenly get off-line at a logical level. The network card does
not report any network loss, but MSN messenger logs out and on several
times, and some popups saying that open folders on network drives are not
available. But on doubleclick they open again.
2. I have a NT4 server running scheduled tasks once a week. This is a .BAT
file in a network drive on the same SBS2003 Server as above. But last weeks
I have to log off the user on the NT4 server and log on again to get access
to the network drive as it has been automaticly logged off.
Anyone with a hint of where to look ?
Regards
Anders
