Logging on

Recently I did some Windows updates and immediately
afterwards I was required to Log on. Previously I did not
have to. I am unable to find out how to change this so I
don't have to click on my name or enter a password. I
wiould like to be able to get to my desktop immediately.
Is there a way to do this? Help
