Logging on to the computer

When I turn on my computer I want it to go straight to the Desktop - it did
do that but then I uninstalled Sage Payroll programme but now it logs on via
the welcome page. I have tried to change it by going to Start/Control
Panel/User Options and tried everything in there - but nothing works. I
believe I need a tweek of some kind to put it back to how I originally had
it. Can you help please? I am not very technical. Sue

Do a System restore about the day before you uninstalled Sage Payroll.
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
You can go back up to 90 days (I hope). Happy putering :~)
