for some reason some times not all of the time users log on to their Windows XP Pro Workstations and when they try to connect to a network share or drive that is mapped to a network share a logon box will pop up asking them to log onto the server, Like it's asking them to log on to the local computer. The two servers that are doing this are Domain controllers. Also when they try to connect to the exchange 2003 server through outlook The same thing happens, a logon box pops up.
again, it doesnt happen all the time.
This net work was just updated from an Windows nt 4 domain. it is running in Native mode.
What am I doing wrong.
Please help if you can

James-

This sounds like a DNS issue to me. Is DNS running properly? Are the clients
all pointing at the DCs for DNS?

Run a netdiag on a client and see if you get any failures.
