D David Biddulph May 22, 2007 #2 Do you mean (log to the base 5) of x = -2 or do you mean log of 5*x =-2 ? Either way, you need to remember that if log (to the base 10) of x = y, then x = 10^y (or =POWER(10,y)) Do your algebra from there.
