Log on screen

My WinXp always started with no sign on or log on screen. It just started.
After installing SP1a and about 8 updates, it now starts with a Windows
Logon screen and I have to click on my name, no password, to make it load
windows. I want to get rid of this log on and go back to the computer just
starting with no log on or password. needed. Can anyone help me get it back
to the way it was. Thanks
 
At the run prompt, type control userpasswords2. Uncheck 'users must enter
username...'. Ok out and fill in the username you want logged on
automatically at the prompt.
