Log-On Control

Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to log all agreed users (say from a list) who use a specific
Excel XP workbook that is used on a network - to record whom, when and how
long it was accessed. This data is stored automatically on a spreadsheet
Hidden or remotely stored - some of the users have Excel 2000 - tall order
ehh! This would be a great deal of help to myself and others.

TIA
Roger

Hi
this is IMHO a task which should NOT be done within Excel.
Though you can create such kind of macro all the user has
to do is disable the macros and nothing is logged at all.

Do this on the operating/network level and monitor the
file access. So ask your IT staff to create such logging
mechanismn
