Log On After Changing to WorkGroup

In the process of trying to deal with another problem I
changed a setting on the "System" tab from "Domain"
to "Workgroup." Now I can't log on to Windows when the
computer asks for my user name and password. How do I fix
this?

Disjoining the domain destroyed the client/ domain trust. You'll need to
physically reconnect to the domain and rejoin it to the domain. You can
logon locally with any valid local account. The cached domain account
information is no longer available.

You'll probably need to get your systems admin to do it since you'll need
domain administrative rights to join the pc to the domain.
