Log of access to files on NTFS

Hi,

I'm quite new to dealing with NTFS in WinXP.

I need to know how many times each file on the hard drive has been accessed.

I wanted to know if there's a way to log the access to files, either within
WinXP or using an external program.

Do you know if it can gives the amount of read actions for each file?

I don't think so. You'll have to process the log.
