I am having trouble running an installed program, is there a log file in XP
where I could find out which particular function is not being processed.
Win XP Home SP2.

You can look in Event Viewer.
Start>Run>eventvwr.msc [enter]

If you think this might be a Windows problem, please don't hesitate to
post back with lots more details - name of program, your XP Service
Pack level, if the program ever ran right (and if so, what changed),
any error messages, etc. Otherwise, gather that information and contact
the unnamed program's tech support people. It may be a known issue and
they may have a patch and/or workaround.
