locks up

Everytime i try asnd run program it proceeds fine than
after about 20 minutes, it locks up and I have to
restart??? Meanwhile it has located several pieces of
spyware, but i can never finish to erase!!! Is there any
way to pause and delete functions along the way? or any
suggestion that might help me prevent from "locking up"?

Restart the computer in safe mode, open Microsoft AntiSpyware, on the Scan
Page, choose Scan Options > Full System Scan (check the boxes below) > click
"Run Scan Now".

Also, remember to disable System Restore before scanning in Safe
