"Locking your computer screen" stays for a very long time

Hi, After the power settings turn of my screen for example, or after stopping
the screen saver, it often happens (but not always) that the "Locking your
computer screen" appears and stays for more than 5 minutes before the login
screen shows up (without any reaction to inputs). The "Resuming your
computer" screen after resuming from hibernation also stays for such a long
time. Does anyone have a hint on how to stop (control) this ?

Hi,
Check Control Panel> Power Options> (left side) Require a password on
wakeup. Is "Require a password" checked?
