Locking non-Validation cells in ranges

Having trouble getting the following to do.
Any advice would be good.

rngPossibleValidation.Cells.Locked = True

Set rngValidation = Cells.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeAllValidation)
rngValidation.Cells.Locked = False
