I still subscribe to Lockergnome, but you're right. Even if you
disregard the obvious ads in the margins, at least half of the linked
articles are attempts to sell some kind of hardware, software, books,
etc. A recent development is the "HelpShare" system where "Gnomies"
buy and sell answers to technical computer questions. Gimme a break!
 
I was a fan of lockergnome back when Chris did very good work...(I was one
of the first subscribers). Seems that fame and fortune and a large user
database made them lose what made them successful in the first place..
