Locked Folder / Account

I had a folder under Documents and Settings that was password protected. My
system crashed and it was necessary to reinstall XP Pro. When I created new
user IDs there were not exactly the same as before. I did the best I could
from memory.

When I try to access the locked folder I am denied access. I remember the
password but the system does not ask for a password. It only states that
access is denied. Is there a way I can gain access to this folder and make
it accessable?

Thanks,

Take ownership of the folder.
