Hi!
I have WinXP Prof.
I set taskbar wider than a default width. When I restart my system,
WindowsXP sets the width of the taskbar to the default value.
How to change it so even after restart system uses my custom width for
taskbar?

Thanks.

try making the taskbar the size you want and then right click on the taskbar
and select LOCK TASKBAR and see what happens after a reboot.

good luck

Tried this. Didn't work.

Just your profile/user demonstrates this issue? What about other users?
