how lock objects( ex:chart imported from excel) in powerpoint 2000?
which cannot copy it to other place.

You can't do this, I'm afraid.

You can convert the entire slide to an image, though. Then nothing (but the
image itself) is selectable.
 
Try this (it will fool a lot of folk!)

View the slide at 10% (type 10% in to the zoom box)
Draw a rectangle as big as possible and set it to 99% transparent fill. Make
sure its in the front
Give it a custom animation of disappear - with previous
Set the zoom back to 65% or whatever it normally is.
The rectangle will never appear in show mode but in edit mode will "block"
the slide
