Lock access to certain drives/folders

Hi all!

Is it possible to lock access to certain drives folders on a desktop using
GPO? I understand a CACL script can be pushed, but maybe there is another
way?

Thank you for you reply Florian!
I used this article to hide the drives, but they are still accessible from
DOS or scripts (I am keeping scripts available for the users). At the same
time I cannot hide folders using the same method.
