Location vs. DesktopLocation

When it comes to forms, is there any practical difference between the
Location and the DesktopLocation properties? And does the
SetDesktopLocation() method do anything that can't be achieved by simply
setting one of these properties?
 
For a toplevel form the location is the desktop location. For MDI child
forms it has a different connotation.
