Location of attachments in outlook

Where are the attachment files stored on the hard drive.
Example: I recieve a message with an attachment. Open the
file. Where is this file stored? Specific folder
location.

I can take this question one of two ways...

* All attachments are stored in the personal folders file (POP/IMAP) or on
the Exchange server. Location of the Personal Folders file can vary
depending on operating system. Assuming that you where using Windows
2000/XP, then the most probable is \documents and settings\<userid>\local
settings\application data\microsoft.

or

* When you double click on an attachment to open it, the item will be
written to the Temporary Internet Files folder.
