Locate Link Locator pop-up

Can someone advise how to get rid of the pop-up which comes up when I click
a link in my email? The links are http or https and the pop-up opens and
immediately after my Firefox opens at that location.

After viewing the page it is necessary to return to the pop-up to close.

Firefox is my default browser on a new Vista home user machine (I've double
checked that) in an Outlook 2003 SP3 email setup..

I found the answer and have to tell you that after beta testing since 1981
this comes in the class of 'head-in-armpit' by the designer/coder for it.
