Hi,

I work with a localized version of Access and I have the problem that
I cannot explain how to do something if my correspondent has Access in
another language, because I don't know how the menus and options are
called there.

Is there somewhere a table showing the different menus and options in
different languages (generally I need only German, French and English,
in fact).

Thanks

Thank you, but this is no answer to my question. Translate can I
myself.

The point is, MS localizing people were unfortunately too subtle to
simply translate the menues, but instead they interpreted them. Where
"tools" has become "Extras" and "customize" has become sometime
"Optionen" and sometime "Anpassen", no translator does help anymore.

On second thought, I don't need a multilingual table. A table with all
menues of a single language would be enough, what is what I can
recognise for myself from the position and the rough meaning.

Greetings

I think both Windows and Office have multi-language versions available. I'm
not sure of the current name but it used to be MUI (Multi User Interface).
With that installed you can switch your user interface language, which would
let you see the desired language version. It might only be available via
volume license, but it has been included in an MSDN subscription.

Thanks, that will help
