Localization string not found

I'm having a problem with my Windows XP. I'm a new user
and used PCrelocator to move my files over. Now when I log
on I get the error message "localization string not
found". I'm having some issues viewing images stored on my
harddrive in certain programs (such as IE6). I'm wondering
if these issues are related and what the solution might
be. I'd appreciate any help. Thank you.

One of your startup programs is not finding the information it needs
when it loads. Try disabling those startup programs via MSCONFIG. Log
off. Log back on. If the message is gone, add one startup item back. Log
off/log on. Still no message, add another item. Repeat until the message
appears again. The last item you added is the program having a problem.

If the program is one that was moved with PCrelocator, reinstall the
program.

No way to state positively that the issue is not related to the image
rendering trouble you're having but it is not likely. What image formats
are giving you trouble? Internet Explorer can display basic formats that
one encounters while browsing the internet. It is not capable of
displaying all image formats.
