<localhost> problem

I have a client who when he reboots his PC the pop3 address is reset to
<localhost> and the account details are changed....

they are using Outlook2000 SR1

Any thoughts

This is because he has an antivirus program that atempts to integrate itself
with Outlook. He should disable this integration. Some AV programs
(products from Symantec, for example) can require that you uninstall the
program and reinstall without the email option in order to truly disable the
integration.
