local disk

after formatting have found that c:drive is now a removable disk andnmy local
disk is now :I any ideas how to make it :c again please

While Setup you had a USB drive (e.g. an internal card reader)
attached which grabbed the drive letters.

Unplug the USB device or disable USB in the BIOS setup.
Then set up XP again. Then you can reenable USB if you
had disabled it...
