Local default printer not available

My default printer (hp LaserJet 3030 PCL 6) is connecting to my WinXP using
a USB cable. Another printer is connecting to LPT1. While I connect to
anther PC, I can only see the local LPT1 printer available, but my default
local printer is not found. Is there any way to printer to my local default
printer?
