Local and Global Contacts for Word addresses

I have a user who has an extra option on the toolbars to set were the contact
is stored? Options are for Local, Global etc. But I cannot find it when I'm
looking through my contacts / customizing the toolbar. She uses the insert
address into word fucnction as well. I'm pretty sure it could be part of an
add-in but wasn't sure if it's part of Outlook or not. Anybody aware of this?
It's a pulldown menu.
