Local Administrator

I have added myself as the local admin of a workstation, however, after I
restart the pc, my name is removed from the local admin grom on the
workstation. Is there a possible policy that has to be disabled for this
not to occur...

Yes there is a Policy that can be causing this to happen. I assume this
system is part of a Domain. Look at (Computer Configuration/Windows
Settings/Security Settings/Restricted Groups.)
