Local Admin

I have added myself as the local admin of a workstation, however, after I
restart the pc, my name is removed from the local admin grom on the
workstation. Is there a possible policy that has to be disabled for this
not to occur...

The policy in question is called restricted groups. Your
administrator has configured your group/user account NOT
to be a member of the local admin group. This is why each
time you reboot it goes away.

You cannot defy the ADMINS!
