Locaiton of Registry

C

Craig

When I click "regitedit.exe", the whole bunch of the registry pops up.
I am wondering where the registry file is located and stored.
I wish to store the registry file in different location as a backup.

Hi Craig

The file to invoke is 'regedit' from Start>Run. The Registry is 'located'
in various files on your hard disk and I wouldn't advise trying to access
any of those files unless you know 'exactly' what they are used for and
exactly how to 'use' them!!

The Registry can be backed up/restored most proficiently by using a 3rd
party program:

Please read the 'Detailed Information'.
