"Loading your personnal settings"... Win2000 domain

Hi everybody

I run a lab with 12 win2k clients and a win2k server.
After I upgraded my router (Di-link D-304 ISDN router), I have the following
problem: When I log on as a domain user, then for about 30 minutes the
system keeps displaying a window saying "loading your personnal settings"...
ofcourse if I unplug the network cable, I can connect locally to the client
without problems.

Do you know what's happening? I have googled it but with no results.. :(
Thanks

Morel than likely, you got a DHCP address form the router instead of your
DC, so you got the wrong DNS server address. do an ipconfig /all and see
what the system lists as your IP address and DNS server, and the DHCP server
address. You should not have 2 DHCP servers running. If this is the case,
disable DHCP on the router.
